A Collaboration of Creative Minds
Owned by Bernard Ray, The Old Shoe Shop is a lovingly restored grade II listed building located at 43 High Street, Kington, Herefordshire. The shop is a hub of creative talent, with Celia Kibblewhite of New Leaf Design and Celia's Handmade Herbal Body-care, and textile designer and floral artist, Caroline Ede, on the first floor. The ground floor is where you’ll find the Old Shop Framing workshop. Experience The Marches Makers FestivalThe Kington Marches Makers Festival runs from the 4th-6th May, and is an annual celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and community spirit. The vibrant event showcases the talent of local artisans, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore a diverse range of handmade goods, artworks and performances. From traditional crafts such as pottery, woodworking and textiles to contemporary art installations and interactive workshops, The Marches Makers Festival highlights the rich cultural heritage and creative flair of the region, bringing together business owners, residents and visitors alike.
